Cash completed his quarantine and is now out with the herd making friends and continuing with his therapy and treatments. He fit in immediately and seems to find the donkeys amusing! HISTORY: Cash was a ranch horse who came up lame and previous owners “didn't want to deal with it.” He was found and purchased at a local sale barn. MJM swooped him up immediately, seeing his temperament it was an easy decision. We were confident we could give him the therapy and time he needs to be rehabilitated and given a great life. We look forward to learning more about Cash and expect he’ll be winning hearts over with all his new visitors. Stop by and meet Cash! He’ll follow you around and patiently wait for more attention. SKILL SET LEVEL: Cash is polishing up his ground work and skills. He is being treated for his injury, which is progressing nicely! CURRENT DIET: Cash doesn’t require a special diet or additional supplements at the moment so he’s enjoying a regular grain mix and 24/7 hay. We will continue to watch his weight closely as well as his teeth and adjust his diet as needed. MORE ABOUT Cash: Cash was an immediate “YES!” when we set eyes on him at the sale barn. We saw the lameness and knew we wanted to give it our best shot, he deserved it. He settled into our herd very nicely. When the brushes come out, so does he. He is very approachable and loves to be groomed, he especially looks forward to Matt (Co-founder and Co-Owner of rescue) to come home as he gives the best scratches. Cash’s sweet spot is on his neck and could stand there for hours getting scratched. Cash is very handsome and has a great personality to match. He has a kind heart and sweet soul. He LOVES treats. But who doesn’t? He takes the treats softly and enjoys the company of both adults and children. We look forward to seeing more of his personality this summer.
